I had a good conversation today with a colleague about the efforts made by some offices on campus and not others to recycle their plastics. It seems offices that do not have easy access to a sink to wash their used plastics will be more likely to throw them away in the garbage rather than recycling.

We're over halfway through the challenge! I've learned more about plastics and proper recycling and I've been really good at putting my reusable shopping bags back in the car after using them!

My recycling stash is getting larger so I'll have to drop the items off soon, but it is making me recognize that plastic is everywhere!
