    I definitely feel like I'm losing momentum in this challenge as we near the end of the month. I'm going to try to do a bit more learning over the last couple of days though.

    I'm good at reducing/eliminating some type of plastic use, e.g I hardly ever have a disposable plastic bottle of water, but I know I could work to reduce the amount of plastic I use related to food -- as takeout, convenience packaging at the grocery store, and using plastic wrap.

    There really is a lot of plastic packaging that can be taken somewhere locally for recycling beyond just the items accepted in our curbside recycling.     I had a good conversation today with a colleague about the efforts made by some offices on campus and not others to recycle their plastics. It seems offices that do not have easy access to a sink to wash their used plastics will be more likely to throw them away in the garbage rather than recycling.
