Using some plastics for some long-lived items may be acceptable, but not disposables. It is irresponsible to create materials that harm will harm the environment for millennia, yet producers bear no responsibility.

I'm going to remove all plastic soap containers from my house and only use bar soaps. That will be where I start. I'm going to try to find a good bar shampoo and conditioner as well!

There is a lot of information about plastics that no one is talking about. How do we get more information out to people so that they care more about this issue instead of going along status quo? Restaurants in my area are most concerned with costs at present and not really the environmental impact. So I'm going to continue to press for being able to bring my own containers.

I'm really seeing how difficult plastic is for humans and the environment. I didn't know that biodegradable was the worst option. There are only so many options for recycling near me so I'm going to focus on using as little plastic as I possibly can!
