July 11 at 5:35 AMI gave my daughter who recently moved out on her own reusable shopping bags. I stressed the importance of actually using them and what a difference something that seems so small makes. I also told her to get in the habit of leaving them in her car so she doesn't forget to use them.

July 9 at 3:01 PMAs companies begin to capitalize on marketing biodegradable products, the consumer has the responsibility of learning what is involved in the term "biodegradable". Once we are educated, we can make reasonable choices that benefit the earth, nature, and hamanity. I do not think that bioplastics are acceptable to Rumpke in Cincinnati.
