I was unable to get a meeting scheduled in July with my financial planner to ensure my investments are supporting things that are important to me. I will still do this, just not for PFJ.

I learned that one of the reasons so many products come in plastic, is because the products contain so much water. There are companies that are starting to make products such as shampoo and beauty products that do not come in plastic.

I discuss the importance of recycling and buying in bulk with my daughter while we pack her lunch each day.

I was surprised at how harmful plastics can be to our health. Microplastics are everywhere. Warming up items in plastic can be very detrimental to our health. Frightening.

I am at the state fair today. I brought my own water bottle, straw and napkin, but all of the yummy snacks will not be plastic free 🙃

The month was extremley busy and I did not put in the time necessary. Already thinking about doing better next year! I had difficulty navigating the website on my phone, so this added to my outcome.

Found out that my local Staples takes small lithium batteries. Yay!

Actually it made me saddened to think that all this time I thought that I was doing the right thing by being diligent with recycling. Now I know that a lot of products marked recyclable are most likely not recyclable. I plan to research this some more. Makes me aggravated.

I stopped at a Sheetz to get gas and cold brew the other day and brought in my thermos from the car to fill. I wasn't sure if they would have a problem with that, but I went to the counter and told the person working how many ounces I filled.
