I made a concerted effort to take time almost every day to check in on this site and do many of the tips to prevent plastic use and waste, and I’m glad I did! It was helpful to me to learn new information on plastics and their harm to humans and the environment, and to pick up new ways to be part of the solution instead of part of the problem....

I'm "seeing" the plastic more. Now that I'm aware, I search for products that don't have any or try to reuse it but it's not easy. Even ALL milk/soy milk containers have plastic.

I’m enjoying learning more about what can actually be recycled, and realizing we need to drastically reduce our use of all plastics

The potluck we mentioned bringing you own plate, utilizes & cloth napkins but we brought extra. People commented that it felt more comfortable and homey.

I have lowered the amount of plastics, I can see it in my trash can because I don't have to "throw out the trash" half as often BUT it's really difficult to go a day without it. I eat alot of frozen veggies, they used to come in boxes with wax paper but they are hard to find. I think people are a bit nervous about germs & although...

Keeping reusable bags in the same spot in car so I remember bring them into stores Washing my reusable utensil set & putting the kit back in my backpack each evening as a routine Keeping a coffee pot at work so I don’t use the office single-use coffee pods I haven’t run into any issues; I have only replaced one set of routines for...

Hi, I've been participating in these challenges for a few years. I just find it useful to do something to protect Planet Earth. After all, where else are we supposed to live? A few amazing things that Earth has to offer: air, land, and water. It's the best! :)
