I grew up in an era where plastics were not much of a thing. Glass jars were used for storage, produce was picked out individually in markets and paper was used to wrap breads etc. In the blink of an eye, plastic became the "miracle" product. Remember tupperware parties? We have become so reliant on plastics that to this day...
