Learn how plastic is made

Discover the difference between bioplastics, compostable plastics, and recyclable plastics
Not all “eco-friendly” plastics are created equal. I will spend 5 minutes exploring the differences between bioplastics, compostable plastics, and recyclable plastics—and what happens to each at the end of its life.
First Steps: Start with You
Estimate My Plastic Consumption

Allison Roberts 7/31/2025 11:16 AMI scored really low on my plastic footprint which feel really good! I've been mindful of my plastic consumption for many years now so it's nice to see it quantified in this way. I'll always keep improving and tweaking but I'm doing what I can.
