The first step to this one is buying a large container of yogurt, not the individual cups. You probably already do that knowing how conscious you are of plastics. But yeah, beyond that, it's a tough topic. Clearly cleaning it out for recycle is a must, but maybe searching for brands that use some level of post-consumer recycled content in the container could be an option? It's tricky when it comes to food packaging, but someone might be doing it. Hopefully they make good yogurt! -

I recently made yogurt for the first time using whole milk. It was very easy and, if you get milk in bottles, no plastic used! -

Good thought. I hadn’t thought of that either. I usually have yogurt for breakfast, but switched to oatmeal this month and hadn’t thought about the plastic element of yogurt. Would be nice if they could store in something else better for the environment.
